First I was upset because we weren’t getting any encouragement from the few people who read the comic.
Then I was upset because we missed an update.
Then I was upset because no one ever said anything about it.
Then I was upset because Lindsey and I decided we didn’t want to do this anymore and it felt like giving up, but we agreed to finish the current storyline.
Then two weeks passed without us posting a single update and no one said a word about it. I think we’re done here.
Goodnight everybody.

Sorry you’ve not been feeling appreciated for this lately – it is a good comic, I’m just usually a little too embarrassed to post comments. But I’ve been voting every day for TWC.
Please don’t give up so easily. We, as web-comic readers understand that the authors have other lives, and can get behind. Just because we didn’t pester you about being slow on an update doesn’t mean that we don’t care. Most of the web-comics I read are not updated regularly. No one wants to put demands on the artists, we just enjoy a comic when we get a chance. B.O.W.L. hasn’t been around long enough to have a track record. So don’t give up, if you feel you still have some creativity that you’d like to share with us.
I’m sorry you’re calling it quits. I rather enjoyed your comic.
But I was on the side of a mountain in Colorado for five days, and spent four days driving out and back from there with my dad. So I wasn’t exactly in the position to comment on the lack of updates… and I also understand that sometimes, real life interferes with comics. I don’t whine when updates don’t come regularly.
Maybe in the future you’ll continue the comic. If so, I look forward to it.
Rob H.
I too am sorry that you are calling it quits. I enjoyed the comic and will miss it. I haven’t bowled in years but knew many of the charachters you wrote about. I checked back every so often and simply figured that as with many webcomics problems occur, computer financial and other real life issues. Hope that all you do in the future succceeds.
We were in New Orleans the first missed comic, that coupled with a certain facebook post made me think you had already decided to call it quits, I didn’t want to rub it in or something.
I do love the comic though, of course I’d rather see it continue <3
I’m still fairly new to this comic, and I’m sad to hear that you’re calling it quits. All of the comics I read have to take time away from their comic, even if that means missing an update or 2.
I’m sorry I couldn’t comment until now. I have 3 jobs and all of them have been biting me in the backend and throwing me lopsided. I do hope that you will carry on with the web comic, would love to see it continue. <3
I too will miss the comic. I don’t tend to comment about missed comics, as I understand authors have IRL issues that get in the way.
